Audacity IT Solutions Limited is seeking two (02) highly skilled, experienced, and motivated individuals for the Software Engineering Team Lead role to join our growing team in Dhaka. The ideal candidate will be an experienced software engineer with hands-on experience in building multi-disciplinary solutions, strong leadership qualities, and the capability of guiding a team through the development lifecycle of web applications.
Salary Range: 80,000 BDT – 120,000 BDT+ (open to extending for deserving candidates)
Number of Vacancies: 02 (On-site).
Minimum Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience with PHP, Laravel, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3.
- 5+ years of experience with custom application development.
Responsibilities:
- Design & develop efficient, performant, and reliable backend functionality and APIs.
- Write clean, modular, and maintainable code that adheres to industry standards.
- Design solution architecture that optimizes application performance and ensures scalability.
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers in software engineering practices and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members (front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers) to ensure smooth project progress and integration among all technical aspects.
- Collaborate with project managers and/or stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Identify and resolve technical issues proactively, ensuring the timely delivery of projects.
- Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends to promote growth for you and your team.
- Be a thought leader on the team, advocating best practices across all engineering areas
Technical Skill Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP version 8.x.
- In-depth Laravel knowledge (Middleware, Collections, Jobs, Queues, and Service Containers).
- In-depth knowledge and working experience with at least one front-end framework: React / Vue.js.
- Experience with MySQL and database design fundamentals.
- Solid working experience building RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with the version control system Git and possibly with GitHub.
- Hands-on experience integrating custom code with 3rd party web services.
- Experience with software testing, TDD, and unit testing is a plus.
General Qualifications:
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, good interpersonal skills, a team player.
- Ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience in the integration and implementation of cloud services, such as AWS.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
