Audacity IT Solutions Limited is seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and motivated individual for the Software Engineering Team Lead role to join our growing team in Dhaka. The ideal candidate will be an experienced software engineer with hands-on experience in building multi-disciplinary solutions, strong leadership qualities, and the capability of guiding a team through the development lifecycle of web applications.
Minimum Experience: 5+ years of professional engineering experience & 2+ years of leadership experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design & develop efficient, performant, and reliable backend functionality and APIs.
- Write clean, modular, and maintainable code that adheres to industry standards.
- Design solution architecture that optimizes application performance and ensures scalability.
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers in software engineering practices and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members (front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers) to ensure smooth project progress and integration among all technical aspects.
- Collaborate with project managers and/or stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Identify and resolve technical issues proactively, ensuring the timely delivery of projects.
- Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends to promote growth for you and your team.
- Be a thought leader on the team, advocating best practices across all engineering areas
Technical Skill Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience with PHP, Laravel, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3.
- 5+ years of experience with custom application development.
- In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and versions 7 and 8.
- Advanced Laravel Experience (Middleware, Collections, Policies, Jobs, Queues, and Service Containers).
- Experience with MySQL profiling and query optimization.
- Solid working experience building RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with version control system Git and possibly with GitHub.
- Hands-on experience integrating custom code with 3rd party web services.
- Experience with software testing, TDD, and unit testing is a plus.

Salary Range: 100,000 BDT – 150,000 BDT+ (* Can be extended based on your experience & skill set).
